Homemade Cacao Granola

This is super yummy and loved by my whole family.  I sprinkle it onto of my smoothie each morning, my girls love it on top of stewed apple and my husband just eats it by the bowlful! :) 

Preheat oven to 180C.

Place all the ingredients in a medium bowl and combine.  Spread out onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.  Bake, stirring frequently to turn, for approx 15-20 min or until golden brown.  Remove from heat, set aside and cool and then add dates and dried raspberries.

1/4 cup chopped Brazil nuts

1/4 cup chopped Cashew nuts

1/4 sunflower seeds

1/4 pumpkin seeds

1 cup rolled oats

1 cup dried coconut chips/flakes

1/4 cup flaxseeds

1/4 cup buckwheat groats

2 tsp cacao

1 tsp cinnamon

1tsp cardamom

1tsp dried ginger

1/4 tsp himalayan salt

1 heaped tbsp coconut oil (melted)

1 tbsp maple syrup

1/2 dried dates chopped

1/2 freeze dried raspberries
